Our Birmingham based client who is a specialist supplier in sports leisurewear is currently seeking an experienced Sales Administrator/Credit Controller to join their team on a permanent basis. The successful candidate will be required to work Monday-Friday from 10- 3pm. (Flexibility in days/hours will be considered for the ideal candidate)

The successful candidate must have:

  • Excellent communication skills
  • High standard of numeracy, accuracy with attention to detail
  • Previous experience of account procedures, client ledgers and office accounts
  • Has the ability to demonstrate experience of working in a credit control department
  • Excellent understanding of Excel, Word and Financial reports/accounting software

You must be a team player with a flexible approach; a self-starter who is pro-active and can set and achieve goals with excellent organisational and time management skills.

Some of your duties include:

  • Ensuring that debts are paid in a timely manner
  • Chase overdue invoices by telephone and email
  • Maintain accurate records of all chasing activity
  • Provide accurate advice on billing queries
  • Handle disputed bills and negotiate to bring payment within the agreed terms
  • Undertake account reconciliations as required
  • General administration duties

Opportunity for a bright and enthusiastic candidate with proven experience within administration and customer services to join a warm and upbeat team on a fixed term contract basis.

Our client are a successful organisation within the telecommunications industry who currently have an incredibly busy customer service team who pride themselves on providing the best quality service to both SMEs and major national clients. They are now looking to create a new role within the customer services team which will entail providing an administrative support function to the customer service agents, and also acting as an additional resource for the team during particularly busy periods.

This is therefore envisaged to be a very varied position which will enable a keen and highly motivated candidate to be able to get involved in a broad range of activities. On a daily basis this may entail updating internal databases, producing client invoices, fielding client queries via telephone or email, manual filing and archiving, producing client and company activity reports, and any other administrative tasks as required.

The job will ideally suit candidates who have had exposure to a varied customer service and administration based role, as this will enable you to provide fantastic support to the team across all areas from day one. If this experience has been gained within a telecommunications or similar technical services industry then this would be of a real benefit.

Initially our client is looking to recruit this role on a 6 to 12 month contract basis, however for a candidate who is able to go in and really prove their value within this role then there is real scope to be able to make this a more permanent opportunity. We are looking to recruit a candidate to begin with the company in the first two weeks of June, so applicants must be available either for an immediate start or with a minimal notice period.

Our client is based in the North Birmingham area, so is most easily accessible from locations such as Sutton Coldfield and Walsall.

You will be required to have the following;

- Technical qualifications in mechanical engineering/fabrication.

- Active involvement in the improvement of the manufacturing processes.

You will also need to have working knowledge of the following;

- Lean manufacturing tools, improvement activity plans and 5s principles.

- Quality Audit Techniques.

Your main responsibilities will include reviewing, defining and maintaining the Quality Assurance manual and any related procedures alongside this both internally, and externally.   • Producing documentation and correspondence via digital dictation
  • Opening new files and setting up clients details
  • Acting as point of contact for client queries regarding case updates and relaying to fee earners

  • Organising meetings and ancillary arrangements
  • Assisting with time records and client billings as requested
  • Closing and archiving completed files

It would be beneficial if you have previously used the case management system PMS, however this is not essential as training can be provided. You will be required to have a good working knowledge of the main Microsoft Offices packages though and possess strong organisation and time management skills. Experience of working in either Insurance or alternative Litigated legal fields is essential for the role.
