Our client are currently looking to recruit a motivated and passionate candidate with a particular interest in digital design and marketing to join their busy Midlands team. Currently the team provide services to key clients across more than 100 countries, and due to a continued increase in business volumes they are now looking to expand their team further. This therefore represents a fantastic opportunity for a Marketing or Business studies graduate to kick start their marketing career with an established worldwide agency.

Candidates who will fit quickly into the role will possess either a broad Marketing degree (including elements of web design, graphic production, and business management) or a similarly varied Business Studies qualification. Industry experience gained in a placement year during studies will ideally have included work within digital media and web administration, however training on this will be provided for candidates with more generalist marketing experience and an enthusiasm to learn.

Within the role your work will be focused around production of online marketing tools including online adverts, smart phone applications, digital brochures, emailers, and web banners. It is therefore important for this role that you have an understanding of HTML and coding (if not practical experience) as you will be involved predominantly in the technical production side rather than the more creative design aspects. Software that you will be working with includes Dreamweaver and Indesign, so it would be a distinct advantage if you have already had experience of working with these packages.

We are looking for candidates who have a real drive and enthusiasm to learn. The company are highly service driven, so you must be able to demonstrate an adaptable and can do approach which will be applied both within the team and for your clients. You will be happy and keen to undertake additional work which falls outside of your usual job remit in order to ensure that the company continues to provide fantastic results for their clients.

Key clients that the company work with are based more within technical industries, so it will be highly beneficial if you have had previous experience of working on technical accounts, either in an in-house role or within an agency environment.

The company’s Midland offices are based in the Warwickshire area, and due to the site not being easily accessible by public transport links it is really essential that applicants possess a full driving license and access to their own transport.

This will be a challenging role whereby you will be accountable for leading the clients communication function forward through the development of a communications and engagement strategy that encourages effective relations with a diverse range of stakeholders of which include foster carers, internal staff, children and local/central Governments.

You will possess strong influencing and relationship management skills and a natural flair in establishing professional credibility, developing and maintaining effective media relations and the delivery of proactive communications campaigns which will enhance the clients existing position within the sector and of course maintain and develop its already glowing reputation.

Working closely with the Group Marketing Manager and other Senior Managers across the group you will be holding line management responsibility and providing effective and professional leadership to internal and external communications staff.   • Develop and maintain existing/new partnerships with external organisations such as the media.
  • Keeping a fresh vision to new developments and emerging thinking in communications such as digital media in order for our client to maximise all communication opportunities.
  • Ability to provide strategic advice to ensure communications actively supports our clients change management programmes.
  • Playing a leading role in contributing to the culture of the organisation both in effective day-to-day management and through the delivery of highly effective internal communications and staff engagement.
  • Ensuring exceptional quality and value for money at all times through the management of external suppliers and contracts (e.g. video production).
  • Accountable for budget control ensuring ALL spending is managed and at all times cost effective.
