Let’s Feed Brum – Jingle Bell Walk and Breakfast Volunteering

Bell Cornwall Recruitment, Cushman and Wakefield, and One Temple Row teamed up to organise a Sponsored Jingle Bell Walk, to raise donations and awareness for Let’s Feed Brum.

Let’s Feed Brum are a charity run by a group of amazing volunteers whose mission is to make a lasting difference to those experiencing and at risk of homelessness in Birmingham. They offer support in multiple ways, from food and clothing to friendship and guidance, all with the hope of providing a community for those in need and to get individuals off the streets for good.

Every Tuesday and Thursday morning Let’s Feed Brum holds a breakfast club at St Philips Cathedral, providing food, drink and essential supplies – which on Tuesday 22nd November members of the Bell Cornwall Recruitment, Cushman and Wakefield and One Temple Row teams volunteered at.

With the guidance of Alan and Katherine Strang (Trustees) and the other volunteers with Let’s Feed Brum, we handed out Breakfast/Lunch food packages, made hot drinks and engaged in conversations to hear more about their situations and how Let’s Feed Brum have helped the community. A small group also walked round the city centre offering food and hot drinks to others in need, as well as informing them of the services Let’s Feed Brum provide.

If you’re looking to get involved in volunteering, there are also opportunities to help in evening with the daily Walkabouts and Talkabouts. Please follow the link to find out more: Let’s Feed Brum – Providing support to those living on the streets (letsfeedbrum.com)

The BCR Team really enjoyed the morning with Let’s Feed Brum and will continue to support the cause. Thank you to everyone who donated!
