Bell Cornwall Recruitment are searching for an Assistant Building Manager to join a national firm, in their Birmingham City Centre offices. In this role you will be supporting the Building Manager with the day-to-day operations in the office.
Duties include but are not limited to:
- Management and monitoring of all hard and soft facilities in the building and planning maintenance or prevention measures where needed
- Keeping contact with suppliers with regular liaison and meetings – including formal assessments of performance
- Complete a full property inspection and report using the agreed format/ templates, covering all FM areas
- Ensuring building Health and Safety meets regulations and that any issues are identified and resolved
- Ensuring that all facilities and building information is properly logged
The ideal candidate:
- Has the skills and qualifications to assist in effective and efficient delivery of Facilities Management, Services and Projects
- IOSH Managing safely
- Ability to communicate well at all levels with colleagues, staff and external suppliers
