Bell Cornwall Recruitment are looking for a Finance Manager to join a progressive Engineering Company with a Sustainable and NetZero vision. You will be responsible for managing the Finance Team and ensuring the smooth running of all Finance Functions.

Key duties and responsibilities:

• Manage the whole Finance function and supervising the finance team members when carrying out specific tasks
• Preparing month end reports, monthly payroll and HMRC reporting and the preparation and submission of the quarterly VAT returns
• Managing motor fleet, inter-company accounts and transactions and processing complex or confidential transactions
• Liaising with the Senior Management team, other departments and external auditors to ensure communication and efficient work-flow

The ideal Finance Manager would:

• Be a Qualified Accountant or working towards this
• Have a minimum of 5 year’s experience working in a professional office environment
• Be happy working 90% office-based due to managing team
• Have experience managing a team and supervising finance functions
• Be proficient in Microsoft Packages (Excel essential) and ideally knowledge of the construction industry.
