Bell Cornwall Recruitment are looking for an experienced Facilities Individual to join an Investment Banking Company based in either London or Birmingham as the Head of UK Facilities!

Key duties and responsibilities of the Head of UK Facilities:

• Overall responsibility for the General Services department in the UK to support the ongoing day to day operations of the business
• Create an environment which is conductive to productivity and drive a high-quality client service
• Overseeing all of the company’s premises, concierge services and business support activities – including safety and refurbishment, statuary compliance and best practice
• Managing all external suppliers and negotiating contracts as well as developing and maintaining strong relationships with senior stakeholders to provide solutions driven advice and resolutions to issues
• Plan, design, and control the use of space in the office to optimise efficiency, including management of the locker usage and desk booking system with IT – embracing and implementing new technologies within the workplace
• Manage, develop and motivate direct reports. Monitor performance to ensure the delivery of a first-class service across the business

The Ideal Candidate would:

• Have relevant Facilities Management experience including managing different properties across multiple locations – ideally within financial services
• Be IOSH or NEBOSH qualified
• Have excellent communication skills with individuals at all levels, both written and verbal
• Have a solid understanding of building systems, compliance regulations, and safety protocols and a flexible, ‘hands-on’ approach to tasks through project initiation, requirement gathering, development, configuration, testing and delivery
