Job Title: Office Manager
Salary: £30,000 – £40,000
Location: Birmingham
Bell Cornwall Recruitment are pleased to present a fantastic new role for an Office Manager within Birmingham. The successful candidate would have the opportunity to be working for a excellent organisation.
Candidate Duties:
- Maintaining meeting rooms and refreshments when necessary.
- Dealing with employee queries regarding meeting rooms/faulty IT equipment/facilities and any other general queries.
- Provide Health and Safety support to employees and contractors. This could be in relation to fire alarms, fire action plans, risk assessments etc.
- The ability to provide cover for the receptionist when needed – as well as being available for out of hours calls if any emergencies arise.
- Ensuring general office procedures and work is carried out in a timely manner and making sure all company compliance standards are met.
- Ad hoc Office Manager duties.
Skills Needed:
- IWFM qualification is required. If not already obtained the willingness to complete this is necessary.
- Previous experience in an office manager or facilities-based role would be essential.
- Reception based experience would also be ideal.
- Ability to manage a small team and take on duties such as appraisals and catch ups.
- Knowledge of MS Office Packages is essential.
- Having the ability to take on a leader role therefore team management experience is essential.
