Job Title: Payroll Assistant

Salary: £24,000 to £28,000

Location: Walsall

Bell Cornwall Recruitment are pleased to be hiring a Payroll Assistant for a fantastic Accountancy Practice in Walsall. The company has a fantastic team and are looking for someone who has Practice experience to join their fast growing company.

The Candidates responsibilities:

• Dealing with internal and external queries.
• Manual processing of payroll from start to finish.
• Knowledge of SSP, SMP, SPP, NIC and much more
• Capability to do payroll; hourly, weekly and monthly.
• Ability to work in a busy, fast paced role.

Skills Needed:

• Experience within a similar role is necessary.
• General MS, IT and email/internet knowledge is essential.
• Numerical competency.
• Exceptional communication skills are necessary as communicating with clients and colleagues is a key part of the role.
• Knowledge accounting software’s such at Sage, Xero and more.
