Job Title: Senior Facilities Manager
Salary: £45,000 to £50,000
Location: West Midlands
Bell Cornwall Recruitment are pleased to present a fantastic new role for a Senior Facilities Manager within Birmingham.
The successful candidate would have the opportunity to join the Birmingham office of a National Property and Facilities Management Company. The candidate would benefit from working in company that prides themselves on the varieties of services they can offer their clients whilst maintaining their professionalism and enthusiasm in the work they do.
Candidate responsibilities:
The Senior Facilities Manager would be managing the day-to-day operational activities within the company. Focusing on health and safety, company procedures, legislation and more.
- Establishing yourself as main contact for people internal and external to the company and ensuring all day-to-day requests and queries are managed and resolved.
- Managing and monitoring of all hard and soft services.
- Ensuring all processes and procedures are implemented correctly and continuously enhanced.
- Directly manage a team of individuals across a number of buildings -this would include site visits, reviews, appraisals and general support.
- Assisting the Director, Partners and Management to generate new ideas/opportunities or channels within the property industry.
- Working to ensure all Health and Safety compliance is implemented correctly.
- General administration and support work is completed to the highest standard.
Personal and Professional Experience:
- Customer service and communication skills are key.
- At least 4 years experience in Facilities management.
- Experience working on multiple sites.
- Previous experience in facilities management would be ideal especially in the property industry.
- An awareness of Health and Safety legislation would be necessary. IOSH and NEBOSH qualifications are essential.
- IT literate and a good knowledge of technical aspects of property.
- The ability to work on own initiative and work well under pressure is key.
- MUST BE A DRIVER.
