Are you an experienced HR Advisor looking for the next step in your career?

Do you have a passion for Human Resources and Employee Relations with an interest in working within the Higher Education sector?

Key duties and responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive professional HR service across a range of areas – giving expert advice and guidance on all aspects of Employee related issues
• Lead and/or support initiatives and projects in support of HR and business priorities – including the drive to develop process efficiency’s and enhancing the delivery of the HR functions
• Exercising professional judgement to guide managers to a successful outcome/result – taking into account all relevant factors both HR related and commercial factors
• Contribute to the development, implementation and monitoring of service standards across the function
• Undertaking employee consultation as part of TUPE and fixed term contract process including redundancy process
• Acting as a role model through championing the business and HR values through consistent utilisation of the fixed policy and processes

The ideal Senior HR Advisor:

• Qualified to Degree level or equivalent plus practical HR Advisory experience or significant experience demonstrated through increasingly more demanding roles
• Level 7 CIPD qualified (ideal)
• Experienced in handling complex Employee Relations cases (ideal)
• Have experience working in a complex organisation with diverse stakeholders, preferable in the Higher Education sector
• Confident liaising with a wide variety of stakeholders, internally and externally with the ability to develop and maintain strong working relationships
