Senior Office Manager

Bell Cornwall Recruitment currently have a unique and exciting opportunity for an experienced Senior Office Manager/ Facilities Manager to join a Civil Engineering company with a global presence. Whilst the role will predominantly be based in the Birmingham City Centre office, it will involve regular travel to various offices around the UK, therefore we are looking for an individual who has a flexible approach. Ideally this person will have 5 years experience and worked on multi sites at any one time and have commercial office move experience.

Responsibilities

  • Managing office facilities and services around the UK
  • Taking the lead on office moves and fit outs
  • Ensure the offices are safe and well maintained
  • Support with project managing office moves
  • Consolidation of suppliers database and implementation of systems
  • Establish excellent relationships with business stakeholders
  • Ensure all Health & Safety standard are met
  • Overseeing and agreeing contracts and services as well as supplier management

Ideal Candidate

  • Experience in a similar role is essential
  • Detailed knowledge of safety standards and Facilities compliance requirements
  • Previous experience of managing office moves
  • Excellent relationship building skills
  • A positive and motivated attitude towards work
  • Happy with regular travel to office around the UK
  • Must be a driver due to travel
  • introducing CAFM systems
